The Mission at Aurora Christian Schools is “to lead students to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, educate them from a Christian worldview, and prepare them for a life of service to Christ and their world.” What a blessing it is to serve in an organization whose mission is to partner with parents in helping educate their children from a Christian worldview and grow them into men and women ready to serve God! My desire is for ACS to not only provide an excellent education for your children, but also help them to develop positive relationships, become servant leaders, and most importantly help them to grow in their relationship with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
At ACS our education is founded on three core values: Relationship, Education, and Service. Students enrolled at ACS will have opportunities to develop relationships with teachers and peers through classroom experiences, a variety of extracurricular activities, and social events. ACS offers a variety of electives which include courses in science, math, history, computer science, art, music, physical education, psychology, and athletic training. Students are also able to enroll in a variety of advanced, honors, and AP courses, as well as an internship opportunity. All HS students participate in daily Bible class and a weekly chapel experience. We encourage active learning experiences within the classroom and students will attend field trips designed to enhance learning outcomes.
Students also engage in a variety of project based learning experience like our yearly Mock Congress, debate presentations, and student-run coffee shop. Each year we host a school wide City Serve event during which our entire school takes a day to serve the local community. Our HS students also have an opportunity to serve for a week on Mission Impossible, traveling to other states such as South Carolina, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, Arkansas, Mississippi, and more. Students work on building and clean-up projects with friends and enjoy nightly worship, Bible teaching, and free time. It is through these experiences, and many more, that students grow in their understanding of God, His purpose for their lives, and how they can use their gifts and talents to serve God.
Outside the influence of parents, a child’s education will have the most influence on shaping who they are and what they believe. I look forward to partnering with you in leading and guiding your children as they become all God has created them to be.

Dr. Stacy Beebe has eight years teaching experience in K-12 and twelve years in higher education. Most recently, she served as the program coordinator for the physical education teacher education program at Aurora University. She has an undergraduate degree in K-12 physical education and health, with a minor in educational psychology, from Chadron State College. Dr. Beebe has a master’s degree in both elementary and secondary administration and holds a current type 75 Illinois Professional Teaching License. In 2011, she graduated with her Doctoral degree in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership from Northcentral University. As a faculty member at Aurora University, she also led the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Group. Dr. Beebe and her husband, Dan, have two sons, Trey and Ty. They currently attend Fox River Church, in Norway, IL.
